Am I allowed to get a refund?

Not sure where to post this, if it's the wrong section, sorry.

There's a script that I bought a while back called JCreator. Right now the developer doesn't have a subscription, so people can't buy it. Not only that, he has a leak guard on his website, but there's 1 issue, he hasn't payed for his website either. So basically, I was just wondering if I can get a refund because this script isn't usable at all.

RIP and probably not lol

I'd say you'd be eligible for a refund but if you bought it long ago surely you've missed the window to start a PayPal dispute anyway?

I wouldn't want to start a dispute, that's just an easy way to get banned.

I have also been wondering this. The guy has not been on the site in like almost a year. I would like to see what the site admins have to say on this issue

Nope. Only chargebacks can get you banned. Disputes are alright as long as they're valid. I once had a dispute where the guy literally just called me an idiot. He didn't even escalate it to PayPal but PayPal closed it (before the expiry time) anyway :v HE was banned.

You can request for a refund via PayPal on the transaction if it's within 120 days of the purchase date, don't chargeback though, that's no fun for anybody.

So I guess if I purchased the script in October of last year, I'm not going to be able to start a dispute, awesome.
