can we use a private Github to let our devs edit the addons ?

If it is private and your addons do not start being used on other servers I do not see the issue however if one of your devs go and leak one of your addons you could get in trouble for it so make sure any developers with access can be trusted and if not do not give them access or you will be the one who is punished if something goes wrong. Although I could be fully wrong, I would double check the terms of service and maybe a GMS staff member can give a better answer.
