Am I wrong for thinking this job: https://scriptfodder.com/jobs/view/10872 is worth only $5?This guy was demanding $15 for this job. http://imgur.com/rjis2OzI mean I've posted jobs before and overpriced some things but really..$15 for this?

Its probably worth a little bit more than 5$, but no reason for you to be called an idiot.

$10 maybe. Depends on your prices. I don't think $15 is a complete ripoff, but I'm sure you could find someone else to do it for less.

I'd recommend at least what your price is currently $8 for a car alarm seems really standard to me (imo).

Also ignore "No originality" he's just feeding off of your attention.

I just want it as simple as press a keyboard button and it will make you surrender in the above pose. Press it again to un-surrender.

$10-$20, depending on if the programming knows what he's doing.

Usually in logic you'd do the act zombie and freeze it after a certain amount of seconds, you can freeze animations on tf2 so you sure as hell can on gmod.

I am starting to see a lot of DarkRP jobs that are proclaiming they will pay in "server donations" Now it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that you would never undertake a job that claims this especially if they say they are a "new server/community" But surely this must be against the Jobs rules?

Honestly, if they have the donations ready to be sent before the application is casted, I think it's fine.

But if they say they'll pay in a % amount of donations, then I'd just ignore them cause it's either 1. a big scam, 2. they'll never get donations, 3. a huge waste of time.

Should remove jobs that are targeted to 1 individual instead of everyone applying.

ex: FOR BILLY (aka making it so billy only gets accepted, why don't I just fucking add him on steam?)

But if they add them on Steam they don't get the security ScriptFodder offers. (e.g. if they get scammed there's no recourse for them)

That's their fault for being closed minded, you shouldn't have to restrict a job to 1 person if you don't know if they'll scam you or not.

That's just like me giving all my trust to a french guy I know recently got unbanned instead of Neth that I've been around with for about a year now and know what he's capable of doing.

You should add sections for modelling, creating gamemodes that aren't DarkRP edits, and also creating lua entities, sweps, npcs and other such.

It's not being closed minded, it's them already having a deal. Some people want a certain dev that they know does good work, so they probably added them on Steam and discussed before creating the job.

Wanting to do a job through ScriptFodder isn't an indication of mistrust, it's just extra security.

It would be better if ScriptFodder offered a separate system for this instead of cluttering up the jobs section, but I think that's beyond SF's scope.

Could someone give me a estimate on how much I should pay for the following:

(Everything will be for me only and the developer will not be allowed to resell them or use them)

1. Custom Loading Screen
2. Custom Motd.
3. Custom ESC menu.
4. Custom Hud.
5. Custom Scoreboard.
6. Custom level system.
7. Custom pointshop 2 design.
8. Re-design of aWarn2 in-game + intergate it integrate gBans website.
9. Full re-design of gBan (Website).
10. Custom Donation system <-- (Just to deliver ranks / Points etc, nothing for Darkrp stuff) or redesign marcus donation system (Should be integrated with the website).
11. A website + design

Some of the stuff will be a bit advanced. Any idea how much I would have to pay for it - I already got the designs layouts etc.

Also want to note the gamemode is Deathrun.

That would be hundreds of $$$. Over $500 maybe?

Would $1100 be to much or is that a good price?

Hud - $15 Scoreboard - $25 Motd - $10 ESC menu - $25 Pointshop 2 design - $150 Level system (Also inregrated with pointshop 2) - $150 gBan re-deisng - $75 Website (Fully coded and designed from scratch) - $500

Personally, I don't think PS2 design needs to be that expensive (unless you're making some REALLY unique shit), level system doesn't have to be 150, they arent that hard to make, same with gBan redesign
