Everything you should bring with you when you move server hosts

Since a lot of customers have been asking me about/having troubles with this recently here's everything you'll need to copy over to move server hosts:

1. garrysmod/sv.db
2. garrysmod/addons/
3. garrysmod/data/
4. garrysmod/maps/
5. garrysmod/materials/
6. garrysmod/models/
7. garrysmod/resource/
8. garrysmod/gamemodes/
9. garrysmod/lua/bin/

simply copy them to your computer and upload them to your new server, restart, and everything will be just like your old server.

also note, if you were using MySQL with your previous host, you'll need to copy that over to your new host's MySQL system, too, and then you'll need to update your configuration files to match that new MySQL information. contact your old/new host about this to find out how to do that because it depends on how their system works.
