Quick jobs question.
I have recently purchased an addon that I find pretty much essential but the addon hasn't been updated for 2 years and the most recent review from a year ago also says it doesn't work. Should have checked the reviews, I know.
I was just wondering if I was allowed to hire a developer to fix the code for me? I, of course, would take full responsibility if the developer leaked the script.
I have looked but just can't find a script just like it.
The script in question is 895 / "INVENTORY - DarkRP non-grid inventory system".
If you've paid for the script and it doesn't have any DRM (so your developer can freely edit the code) then sure, there's absolutely no rule against hiring developers to enhance others' scripts, but like you said, if they leak the script then it will be your responsibility.
