Suggestion - Coding Race
Just a suggestion but why not host a full event of a live stream where the top content creators race to create an addon and the best one is sold on the store?
Like the addon is decided by the community and the creators can try make it as fast as they can. Mini scripts not things like vcmod which takes extensive time like short addons such as a pool table etc.
Just a little suggestion and it might not happen but if its ran on twitch it could bring in donations and split between the creators that take part in the event. Don't have it running constantly but like every month or two

Not sure how many top content creators would have the time.
I think I'd prefer for this to be geared towards the beginner developers who would need the exposure the most.
I'm not in favor of this... at all.
The problem is the "race" part. I you have a time limit it will affect the script's quality and ends up in a rushed script that runs unstable/unoptimized. Doesn't sound appealing for a store.
Eventhough Gmodstore is very popular for any and all Garry's Mod servers I doubt it would attract a sufficient amount of viewers for such events.
"...and the best one is sold on the store?" Any and all add-ons can already be uploaded freely whether you win the contest or not. Don't see the real reward in that.
Also what and who deems an add-on to be "the best"? Do you want the add-ons to be free for everyone to test and review?
