Why me script is denied ?

Last read Never

Hello,

I created an addons with my own hands and I posters on the site but this one was refused for the following reason: "Workshop Script"

Since the script is created with my own hands, I do not see a script corresponding to my creations.

It would be preferable that proof be given in order to guarantee this choice

My Addons is an addon to send anonymous announcements, adverts and messages to the administrators via a phone placeable on your maps.

Thanks, Zekay.

Here you go.

Also moved to proper sub-forum.

Surely the customers will vote with their money whether something is a workshop script or not?

I think perhaps the approval process is becoming unnecessarily stringent in certain areas.

The script marketplace is handled as such to maintain script quality.

No offense, but you have no clue what his script is, nor do you know the scripts we go through. You can't sit and state that.

I won't pretend I know what scripts you guys go through, I'm sure it's quite a long task and there are plenty of bad scripts that you I'm sure you guys filter out very well. I'm quite impressed by the rate at which scripts are accepted and have had good experiences with script acceptance myself.

I feel like you guys may be putting extra consideration into some areas that you may not even need to, at the end of the day the customer votes with their money. If a script is simple yet serves a useful purpose people are going to buy it. Likewise if it's simple, there are free alternatives, and the add on is not particularly useful people just won't buy it.

Apologies if I'm coming off as ignorant or anything - that's not my intention. You guys are doing a smashing job.

We already take all of these things into consideration when deciding on a script.

another way to put it is: your script is poorly coded, super basic and your marketing is awful and seems like you haven't proof read anything :s
