MateriaLOAD

Hello! I am new to submitting scripts.

I created a Load Screen (I know, some people hate them blah blah). I tried submitting it, but it got denied, about 3 times for "5 second script." So, I'm going to post here for suggestions/constructive criticism. Please, no hate. If it's not a suggestion/criticism, don't post. <3

So, here is what the description would be:

MateriaLOAD
Features
• Simple Design
• Easy Config
• Changing Background or Solid Background
• Customize Colors of Header and Table
• Supports Multiple Gamemodes! (Will expand on that)
• UsesgMusic.
Multiple Gamemodes?
You read that right! This allows you to only need to use one copy! It checks the gamemode that the server is running on, and it outputs the rules that are for that gamemode!(You set them in the config!)So far, the gamemodes it supports are:
• Sandbox
• Trouble in Terrorist Town
• DarkRP
• Jailbreak
• PropHunt
I will add more when you request them.
What is gMusic?
gMusic is a site that allows server owners and loading screen creators to allow for music. The twist on this, however, is that the players choose their own music (From youtube). They will hear what they want, and if they do not want music, they don't set any. It's that simple.
For this to work, however, you need to go to http://gmusic.notfound.tech and sign in to steam. Go to the server owner section, and you have to register to get a key. You just put this key in the config and you're good to go!
Installation
• Upload contents of zip to web server
• Edit config.php to your likings. (Remember to get a Dev API keyhere)
• Configure the Link! http://yourcoolsite.com/path-to-load-screen/?mapname=%m&steamid=%s
Requirements
• A web server that supports PHP
To-Do List
• More Gamemodes
• Admin Panel (Possibly)
• Feel free to comment more ideas!

Here are some screenshots :)

If this is the wrong section, I'm sorry :)

Looks kinda like mallard load or summat like that

Edited Kinda Like This https://scriptfodder.com/scripts/view/2247/mallard-loadscreen-5-in-1-easy-configurable-loading-screen

Compared to some of the loading screens I have seen on SF this one looks alright, not sure why it didn't get accepted when there are worse ones on here. Not that I am a fan on them and I just stick to OpenLoad.

I personally don't like MallardLoad (No Offence) So I wouldn't base it off of his. And I didn't base it off of Intelligent-Loading-Screen (Even though I'm friends with Martin on Steam). He didn't help me at all, but yes, it looks similar, but not identical. They also have different features.

That one's not bad. Pretty cool.

too simple, just cause you put a ton of lines of config doesn't mean it's advanced.

Why do you have separate rules for separate games made btw?

Unless you're going to sell a moduler loading screen or something you probably shouldn't sell loading screens here.

Thanks for your input, but I would never think that it was advanced because the configuration has a lot of lines.

And about the rules, read the description.

There are PLENTY of load screens on here that aren't modular. Some that are as simple, if not more simple.

Anyways, thanks.

Cause ones that have been wrongly accepted are up for too long to be declined and removed. So far half of the simple ones with the same fucking design as another one on this market has been getting declined, I've only seen 1 come through and he shut it down and is re-working it.

I've seen multiple recent ones come through, and, they still get sales. This would only go for about $1. $1.99 At most. I feel that it's worth that much, and cheaper than other simpler ones.

Thats not material though.

Actually, according to Google's Material Guidelines, it is, or at least very similar, as that's what I based the look off of.

According to you, it's not. Then what IS material design?

  1. Why the fuck is there like 8 variables for rules, just do an array.
  2. Padding is weird, rules don't have the same amount of padding.
  3. You don't show anything special.

Edited Also yeh, that's not Material, just a primary color and secondary color

It's not just 1 google search and a photoshop color grabber (juddging from your images that's what you did) Google made a design called Material, it's very clean and flat (suppose to be) and they have everything you need to know about it on their page https://material.google.com/# It's not about what colors you use, it's about how you use them.

looks cool but why does nobody know how to make a decent config

Lol, 1 google search. I went to https://material.google.com (Which is what I meant whan I said according to google). Yes, the colors are used fine. (Wow! I don't have an Accent Color, NOT MATERIAL). This is clean, and flat.

  1. I need to change that, and I planned to.
  2. Padding is not off at all. I don't know what you're seeing.
  3. Did you READ the description? Or did you look at the pictures?

And yes, Just because I don't have a place to put an ACCENT color, It's not Material?

The background is really hard to believe you used the correct color combinations.

Plus you have a design almost 80% of loading screens have which is just a bunch of squares with useless information.

I didn't create the background. That's something that people change. I used those for the purpose of display. Some people like it, and by judging on your replies, you don't, and that's fine. Don't go around insulting people trying to improve on something, instead, say "I don't like how this looks, maybe try this?"

I wasn't insulting you, I was telling you your bad choices of design.
