i’m 15 and want to get into the job section where people pay you for stuff. And I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of work it is because for certain things I need a work permit (I live in missouri). Is it freelance? and also does anyone know how taxes for minors work. I read somewhere that if I make less then ~1000 a year then I don’t have to do taxes but it is my parents paypal so do they have to pay no matter what?
You can do whatever you want as long as the IRS doesn't find out.
Paypal doesn't file a 1099k for you until you get $20,000 in revenue or more... so if I were you i'd just make the money and not report it (not as bad as it sounds)
