Addons should be in their respective categories

Hi there,

I do not want to come off as disrespectful or rude, and I mean this in the nicest way possible. A lot of the addons in the marketplace section are improperly placed in certain categories. For example, Administration.

Now, maybe I have a different set of criteria or a definition of administration than what Gmodstore allows, however I feel as if a lot of the addons are just pushing the line.

When I see the word administration, I think of items useful for staff to manage their server. Something to aid them to manage it easier, whether it be another admin moderation, or discord logs, or anything of that fact.

Don't get me wrong, most of the addons I see are unique and good and all, but my issue is that a lot of the addons have nothing to do with their respective categories. Not sure what these has to do with administration at all.

I understand prometheus can be used as administration, but unless it is a whole another prometheus or similar, then I don't see how it should fall under the administration section, as it is a re-skin. Only Web seems more fitting.

I get wanting to get the addon itself everywhere they can, but as a person who is looking for something, I would rather not see something else.

Again, maybe it's just me with a different definition of administration.

Most of these addons offer an administration panel where you can configure/manage stuff.

Also most addons want to use their all 3 tags that they have available

I've seen a handful of these kind of threads come though over time and for the most part I agree with them. In my personal opinion, an in-game config UI shouldn't deem the addon viable for the "administration" label. I think it should be up to gmodstore to provide a clearer basis of what the categories are/aren't for and maybe provide more specific categories for creators to opt their products in to.

I completely understand M0uka's point, when we have the option to opt in to 3 labels there's little reason not to, but if there were maybe more labels to choose from, this could not only help customers better search for specific products types, but also help to resolve mislabelling.

Adding more tags like in-game config for example would cut down on a lot of that kind of stuff IMO
