Is cancelling a job mid way through development reportable?
Not giving names here but basically i applied for a map develoment job just for the buyer to kick me out of the discord server, delete the job application then not talk to me anymore the next day.
Didn't accept my application in the job listing, but i was the only one to join the "development team" that day, so makes me think he didn't accept anyone else.
Needless to say the map was in the works.
Well if he hasnt accepted your Job on Gmod Store there is nothing that Gmod Store can do basicly since they are not responsible for people that got hired outside of their website. Also the Guidelines clearly say first get accepted and then start working! Basicly there is nothing you can really do against it, if the map is good you can try to sell it to someone else or release it on the workshop.
Yeah, make sure he accepts your application before you start any work.
If he decides he doesn't want your work after you are accepted, the proper thing to do on his part would have been to pay you in full for the time you spent working on it and withdraw from the job. If he doesn't do that in that case, then that's just dodging on work you did, and is reportable.
