DRM? What it about?

Short Story:

Phoenix (a jerk) created like the first solid, commercial DRM for Scriptfodder (previous name of GmodStore) scripts. It kinda did the job, you could crack it but leaking scripts was way more difficult. So on the other day Phoenix just decided to randomly shut down his service (ScriptEnforcer) without any prewarnings. This resulted in tons of scripts no longer working on servers, devs losing their scripts (because they did not have a backup on their harddrive) and the reputation of DRM services dying.

Not to mention the other counteless scummy things Phoenix did, like lend money from people and not pay them back, ban people from scriptenforcer (meaning they can't use any se protected scripts) just because he didn't like them. There's a handful of things he did.

That's really dumb

Edited Scriptenforcer turned into nazism at the end, using a leak would get your server banned, you had to pay $5 to get it unbanned lol.

However, it helped to detect a lot of alts on gmodstore since we had access to the IPs hash and we were much more reactive than the gmodstore moderation team.

Edited Few months ago i found back the DB i exported, that's like nothing compared to all the reports i did only because of scriptenforcer

Pretty sure he bumped the unban price up to $10 in the end.
