Best server hoster in the US?

Hi,

We are thinking about opening some servers in the US, as our German servers are very popular. As I have no experience with any US server hoster, I want to ask you: Which server hoster had you the best experience regarding support, server performance and some other features? For now, I am searching a non dedicated server with about 20 slots, which will become a TTT server.

Thanks in advance!

Pretty sure NFO is the best you can get.

But what do I know, I'm just a dumb Australian

If you don't mind setting it up yourself, I just decided to start trying out BuyVM, they've got 500Gbit DDoS Protection, and the KVM Slice plans are very reasonable for pricing. Support is great too, which is a bonus. They've got both Windows Server & Linux included at no extra cost! :D

GMC has east coast servers which is pretty good cause more people are in the east coast than the west that play gmod.

https://gmchosting.com/ - had a trial with the gamemode comp and we enjoyed the simple UI and the speed of the server, I'd recommend GMC 4 US hosting.

Also be wary, some hosts say they have "US" locations when it's in fucking Canada, Canada isn't the fucking united states so obviously you'll have horrible ping and barely any population spark cause your server will be pinged lower than all the others.

While GMC is still in Canada, their services still offer great ping across the US and they have been the best host I have been with thus far.

I work for a company called Corenet. And we have servers in Canada, Toronto. This is pretty much just above NY and it'll span across to most of the US I believe. Pretty good connection for people in the east. Especially New Yorkers who averagely get around 10 - 15 ping. (Vanillia). Charging 30p (38 cents in us) per slot. And if you're looking for ease of use etc we also use TCAdmin 2 for our panel I'd be happy to answer any other questions you'd have. If you want we can give a try before you buy for a week.

GMC is great, got a 64 slot server and get 50+ players a day with no lag.

Edited I recommend to just stick with your German Servers though ;p
