www.site.com or site.com
What do you like better, www.site.com or site.com?

When should a site use www and when should they not?
www is just a sub-domain, if you visit a site with www.sitename.com you'll go through a different dns server rather than sitename.com
There's no 'should', it really doesn't matter as it's basically just convention
I think www.Site.com looks more professional This is mine www.legacyroleplay.co.uk
Maybe it's your website but even if you remove the "www." the website will work if DNS servers are properly configured. "www." is just for adding some letters before your domain name anyway, it's a subdomain we don't care about.
PS: lol good job trying to send your link and make publicity of your server secretly
site.com redirect to www.site.com. Follow the age-old standard, and have ease of use.

You don't go through a different dns server with different subdomains lmao, that's not how it works. You may go to a different IP depending on whether or not the DNS records are setup like that, but in most cases the convention as aritz pointed out is to redirect the root domain to the www subdomain.
www. is a dated thing which isn’t needed anymore, and never really was needed when it was started
i like to just remove the www. to have a more sleek URL
Regardless you should always have a www. subdomain but force redirecting people is only really needed if you have a high population on your website and especially if you're using cookies.
Some hosts really recommend you use www. because they can't update the DNS records which will redirect traffic from your website if it's failing because a naked domain doesn't have a CNAME while www. does.
Here's a source: https://serverfault.com/questions/408017/why-does-heroku-warn-against-naked-domain-names
You won't need to redirect people if you're just making a community website to www. but still have that www. subdomain regardless.
