Web Hosting Reccomendations

DigitalOcean or Vultr, you don't need anything more for any of that. If you learn how to use Linux properly (You can even just follow either of the site's plenty of guides) and you'll easily be able to do all of this.

Don't get a dedi for web hosting, that's a mistake. Just look at SF's current downtime, fuck dedicated servers in this case.

Rent a ovh vps! (great ddos protection and very cheap). I pay like 3£ a month for my ovh vps, i have like 1100 users registered on my forum. I also have like 12.000 forum posts, and it still run smooth.

£3 a month?? I pay like $20 for a Vultr VPS. Although it does a bit more than that, I wasn't aware OVH did them that cheap.

I'm not that experienced with web hosting, but I think a VPS would be good. I have used VPS hosting at a company called GreenCloudVPS before and they offer 10 GBIT KVM VPS for a decent price. You get a good bandwidth and at least 250 mbit/s burstable to 1,5 gbit/s.

I use buyshared https://buyshared.net/shared-cpanel-hosting/ they have some extremely cheap prices for what you get. You said high or unmetered band width, not sure just how much you need but at the highest package 1000gb per month should be plenty.

Can vouch OVH VPS are decent. The only time I had one go down was when they broke a cluster and it took about 5,000 down for a whole day. That was a bit of a pain though

I use a company called Arvixe, and they are alright. Had some problems with them, but they got better and the support is better. But, I would go with a VPS from OVH or something, there is more freedom. DigitalOcean is too expensive for what you get, I'd rather go with OVH.
