Looking for Ideas
I hope I'm putting this in the correct forum as this is not exactly a "hire-me" post.
I've been working with gmod lua coding for a little over 2 years now and, whilst I am reasonable with it, I would like to progress my skills and knowledge. To do that I need ideas.
So that's this thread, leave your ideas below and if I think I can make it, or if it's something I would find useful for my servers then I might try to make it. Anyone who suggests something that I end up making will receive a copy FOC on the provision that they do not redistribute it for money, and credit is given to myself for making it.

Best thing I would suggest is to start advancing little by little like start doing complex entities if you haven't, or anything NPC related, and then eventually a gamemode. I would also advise doing some jobs as that could help you learn while also earning a buck on the side.
If you are looking to spend time, a completely new Prop-Hunt gamemode with taunts that earn you ps/ps2 credits.
A in game 911 system. Explanation: You can call the cops {Literally} and have a conversation like you would in real life. Has not been done before and has potential to be a big hit.

One of my friends is working on a server with the gamemode Need For Speed RP (darkrp as base), and he is looking for a passive way to make money inside your property. Also we use permanent properties (buy once or rent for X in real life days) so we want the thing you put in the property to be permanent. We couldn’t find any script that fits that, also we do not want to use money printers. We were looking on adding drugs like weed, but there is no script for a permanent weed thing.
Maybe you could work on a passive way of income that can be done inside your property and saves/doesnt dissapear (or has a setting for this) when the player disconnects/server restarts? It would take some creativity i guess. Also this is not a request it is just a suggestion what you are asking for (but we kind of need it :P)
Taunt System. Literally uses PAC3 also too maybe. But how i'd describe this idea is: You press a button and ur character starts to dance some custom moves and even say something. "Taunting" you get the idea. It would be great in TTT/Breach and gamemodes that are about killing
