Script Protection Questions

No ?????You're supposed to code your own protection. When you don't know what you're talking about, just don't talk.
Well, I'm sorry for the trouble and you are right. I wasn't up to date with the protection methods used by SE. If you want a DRM, you can or should use ScriptEnforcer, because they are offering some good methods to hide the code from potential leakers. But as a customer I wouldn't want a DRM, because I often edit the scripts for my purposes and DRM would not allow this. So you can't add featuers or change something even if you wanted to do that.
A DRM always bring problems, because protecting code with Lua is hard, so we need to add aggressive ways to protect the code, it means it bring problem for the costumer.
It's like real life, bad guys will have a knife to attack people, but the good guys can't have a knife to defend themself. And if they get caught by the police they will be treated like criminals.
Yeah it sucks, but the best way to make a drm is to make a dll module, better for remove debugging and more secure than Lua.
But guess what, some server providers do not allow binary modules.
Every time i use SE on my addons, its in the description, so there is no "bad surprise" for the costumer.
Does DRM bring problem ? Yes.
Do i care ? No, because problems are quickly fixed.
