Banned for being an alt account? | Information Here
So you are banned with the reason alt account, alternative account, ip + fingerprint match, alt, or something like that.
Our system flagged that your account matched another account, which is currently banned. This account is seen as the same, and will receive a permanent ban from the site. New accounts that are either private or doesn't own Garry's Mod are also often banned for being alterative accounts, if there is simply an IP match.
If you can come with a valid reason to why our system has flagged your account as an alternative for someone, then the ban can be removed. It will often be difficult to prove your innocence.
READ THIS before appealing. Your appeal will be instantly denied without the format.
Do not ask us for specific proof either. You have to be willing to come up with the proof to show your innocence, and each case is so vastly different we can't give an "end all" example of proof.
