Other modelling programs that you suggest?

I only use blender to make models, but I wanted to try out other modelling programs and see what they offer, any suggestions? (I do know more modelling programs I just want to see what you guys think).
I am no expert on this subject, but I've heard good things about Auto Desk Maya. It's very expensive ($1,620/year) but if you're a student you can get it free up to three years https://www.autodesk.com/education/free-software/maya.
the problem with the student version is that you can't use it to make any profit
