around $10 is usually a good place to start. Thats if you are wanting jobs and spawns + the map setup. If just jobs about $5

Yeah, $10 is way too low, its easy to do darkrp jobs, it just takes a lot of time. Literally just learn to make jobs yourself, youll save a lot. You should only need to hire a developer if you need custom scripts etc.

$10 sounds good for setting a darkrp without making anything custom.

Exatcly, if someone wants me to spend 2 hours doing jobs, I expect as much payment if I were to spend 2 hours making them a custom script.

I'd say Setting up a FastDL. Map, addons for models and a few jobs/adding guns for gun dealer or BMD (BEcause that is a pain.) ULX Ranks, then finally custom spawns. I'd say is about $20 for the basic DarkRP Package. For Custom addons and scripts that's all depending on what the addon is or who you are asking. And for huds and scoreboards I'd personally add $5-10

after you get your server running smoothly like i did with a few jobs and printers ect you can then start to spend on the server but start small you need to think what will keep people from coming back to the server

this is how i have done my server ive spen maybe £30 and i get a steady 10 players without advertising the server

Well the short answer is anywhere from $10-$30 depending on exactly what you want setup/configured. If it's specifically basic DarkRP setup for the foundation of a server, that would be no more than $10 in my opinion. Adding jobs/categories/entities/and addon configurations would be about $25-$30, once more, in my opinion.
