[SF Suggestion] Additional Thread Type

So this is just my own personal preference. I guess it would really depend on each persons' tastes, however:

I find myself steam messaging mods once in awhile (and I try to make it very seldom unless it's something I don't want the community involved with, and it's just personal business matters). But I think it would be an awesome idea if we had an area in the forums which allowed Developers to submit something privately to a mod and avoid using steam messages.

Either that or a tick box in the correct sub-category which stated [Mark this for Staff only] which would post the thread as it normally appears, however, you, and SF staff are the only people who can see that particular thread. That way we don't have to start making a new section for private, but then 6 new sub-categories to keep things organized.

With the tick box, it would appear just as any other post, the only difference is, if you are the author, you can see it display in the list, and maybe some indication that it's private. Then only SF mods and yourself can see it.

The reasoning simply is; I don't like broadcasting every piece of business I have (no offense to the SF community), but I like to conduct personal matters and try to not stir the drama up here. (We all know a lot of people have their two sense) and a thread which should have taken only 3 posts to complete, now has 15+ replies to it, and while I'm guilty of that, I try to not intervene on what I see as a personal matter between a dev and his customer.

Just an idea tossed into the air.

Regards, Richard

Just like the ban appeal section. Only you and the mods can see your threads.

Already suggested to Marcuz. We'll just have to see if it's worth trying.

There will be a 'site tickets' area, to send tickets to staff.
