Quick Question

Hi, I have been wanting to refine a few things on an addon i want to release however i have got to a point where im a little bit stuck.

I cannot find an appropriate method of gathering a list of player models and player models only. I have got to a point where i have gathered all the models however i dont know how to reduce those down to only player models.

Just additional information about my questions, the scenario is that i want to find out all the installed models on the server that are player models. Therefore i cannot use methods like getting the sequences of a model because that requires it to be an entity to do so.

If anyone can give me some information i would be grateful.

You might want to get more experience with Gmod and Lua before trying to go "pro"

^ but player_manager.AllValidModels() is what you're looking for.

This isn't Facepunch Forums. You are also able to find sequences of a model file by reading the file at some offset, like you can with mins/maxs.

I don't want to rant but honestly the toxicity is starting to come back within these forums. The toxicity used to be really bad, but I thought we moved on from that. GModstore could be a great place for people to ask for help. You guys don't even realise how good you've got it here. You have a development team who actively let you know what's happening (to gmodstore) and is open to suggestions and even have a public discord for you to speak to the entire community.

albiet Nykez did help, the rest I can somewhat say provided "constructive criticsm".
