As stated about a million times now, scriptfodder has no professional relationship with scriptenforcer, in fact I'm sure they actually stated that on their site when it was up.
They are two different sites, ran by different people...
Phoenix alway was..a bit ...assy

If I was someone that owned one of your scripts I would be getting very pissed by now, they have bought something that doesn't even work at all now.
At least update your script so it actually works like I have.
I get the fact of some people wanting to protect their assets, but me as a customer; having to wait just so you can find a new DRM would literally make me demand a refund. I've ran many servers, and I usually bought scripts because I needed them, and having one not work screws the community for a loop especially if it's an important one. You need to think about the customers, because your script getting leaked is not a big deal. Eventually, someone with a leaked copy, is going to come back and buy it anyway because:
- They want the most updated version
- They need support
So your script getting leaked is not the end of the world -- in fact it can increase sales. Has for me. Hence why I use no DRM. I've had NUMEROUS people say "I used a leaked copy of your script and I liked it so much I came to buy it because it's actually good." or "I had questions I couldn't figure out on my own".
I'll throw this out there -- I'd suggest the moderators start doing temp bans (or a severely limited account) on people who haven't updated their scripts. Until they actually release a new updated copy. No point in collecting sales if the script doesn't work anyway and it's still on the store. This will give developers the incentive to get that update out one way or the other.

You have been banned from most Discord servers for doing that with your annoying bot.Turn that shit off already.
:late:
I haven't ran that shit in months dude, and I left all the discord servers because Footsies was in most of them and footsies is a mindless degenerate with about as much intelligence as a goldfish.

While I am in agreement about developers needing to get their customers working copies of their scripts - I'm a little hesitant to be handing out bans to those who have not updated their scripts. If they have made it clear they're going to "wait" then yes, I would say a ban may be in order.
You run into the issue though that current customers are still going to have this problem regardless of whether we ban or not. Yes it does prevent sales, so future people avoid this issue - but the amount we may have to ban/worry about unbanning later is also a problem.
People just need to be responsible and fix their scripts.
I wonder if someone could buy it from him and bring it back up looking at script fodder

I agree that banning would cause a lot of extra work for SF, but on the other hand, it gets a little ridiculous that some people's hands need to be held or have to threaten with a ban in order to do what is right. These guys could always just update their scripts w/o SE and post it for customers, and then later, if they find a new DRM, they can always go into the script and do a major overhaul on it (add new features, optimize the code, etc) and then post that update with the new DRM in place and the important code hidden, so it's going to get people to want to buy it anyway because it's newer, more features, better.
But instead, people think it's smart to just let the customer (who already paid, and really has no involvement in the SE/SF issue anyway) wait, without what they paid for.
Sorry for the rant, but I've always tried to put the customer first unless it's out of my hands, but this issue is right in the developers' hands. So something CAN be done.

Not worth buying it when someone like me could make their own. If I wanted to I could make a DRM that works just like SE and post it on GitHub in just 2-5 hours.

Ezjobs was updated.
There is not any server-breaking error anymore. Phoenix wanted to hurt our sales ans our business. And i'm not going to let this happen for mine.
Why do I keep seeing you post pictures of people complaining it's not working?

Ezjobs was updated.
that's a half-truth; what you've done is essentially soft-bricked servers that completely rely on your script into a void where they can't change anything from before se went down.
your behavior is exactly why people are opposed to drm. all it does is hinder legitimate paying customers.
is your precious code really that precious to the point where you're willing to shank 500+ legitimate customers and their beloved communities for an indeterminate amount of time just because you don't want your code exposed?
completely unprofessional and stubborn behavior.
ByDRM FIX IS IN THE WORK JUST FUCKING WAITat 28th of March 2017 08:06:30
No ??? I said i updated it, not that the script was entirely back.Funny to see Commander turning from pro-drm guy to anti-drm just because he decided to release his GM without a DRM.
I am not anti DRM at all, I would rather have no DRM that all my customers bitching at me, as much of an asshole as I am I do like to keep some sort of reputation. You clearly don't care about your customers and want to fuck servers over?
Just release it DRM free then update it with new stuff when the new DRM is ready as Richard said.
Have people actually fixed their scripts to alternatives or no-DRM by now? Its been days. Even if I am pro-DRM I'd say release a protectionless copy until an alternative is possible. Its pretty easy to write your own tiny, tiny version of DRM within a few hours for your work specifically until you either improve it or switch to a service aswel, so thats an option. Remember, all those angry clients of yours are simply concerned with their own server well-being. Customer support should be a priority in this case.
By|UDG| The Commanderat 28th of March 2017 05:03:50
How's the DRM coming along? You should be banned for shit posting.
idk why, the dude's right SE is a 2-5 hour job lmao
