What steps are still required for Gmodstore to be fully GDPR- compliant? As the regulation becomes enforceable on 25 May, I'd expect some kind of email/forum post soon about the changes that will happen on the website.

tbh I wouldn't worry about it much.

Considering how much peronsal financial data they have on all developers, I think it would be nice to know that my personal data is GDPR compliant.

Wrong. There are actually some motherfuckers who search the internet for every single violation they can find and then they proceed to sue you. I dont know who must've fucked you in the brain that hard, but yeah, these retards exist.

(Yes I'm actually quite a bit tilted because that shit kept me busy for days.)

It's not that EU would do it. It's that any data subject (let's say EU citizen in this context) can lodge a complaint[1]. Judging from my previous experiences on this website I think a GDPR complaint as a "revenge" against the website is a very real possibility.

Adding to what Momox said, banned users who lose lots of valuable scripts could be pretty dangerous to the website if it isn't compliant.

our privacy policy is gdpr compliant, we store no personal information on our users other then data that is voluntarily given to us being: 64 bit steam id and your email address. personal information in transactions is never stored on our servers, frankly because we don't really don't care about collecting your personal information as it is of no use to us.

as is said at the bottom of our privacy policy, if you have question related to our privacy policy please email [email protected] - you can also use this email to request access to your personal information we have of you given a proper formal request.

it's easy to be gdpr compliant when you don't collect any data on your users :) x

The business information you give us there as well as your legal name is fully revokable by just emptying the field, after you've emptied the field the information is no longer stored anywhere on our servers, and the PDF files that you get to download when you generate a monthly report are immediately deleted from our server and only generated on demand. This is GDPR compliant.

Edited I just added a button to revoke the business information for simplicity, and because I realized I need to require the fields while inputting them for validation. Anyway the button does the trick for removing it.
