Pricing opinions?
I am looking for someone to completely redesign the aesthetic look of Pointshop2 so suit my server's theme, it will include moving buttons around, and where things are but there will be no changes to the logical system.
Before I go ahead and post I job I was wondering what you guys think that this would cost. Only asking because guaranteed I would be slated for putting my budget on there.
Depends on the developer. Usually a developer with a lot of experience in UI isn't going to apply for the job if you're looking for a complete re-design for $10-20 Doing stuff like that takes time. So be prepared that if you do want something like this done, and from someone who is serious, then it could be a decent price to pay. Otherwise most of the kids are going to see your job for $20, try to take it, think it's easy, and then you're left without anything to show.
Also, do NOT pay for everything up front. If someone asks you to pay for the full amount up front, just block them. Chances are, you're going to get taken if they are asking that. I'd say you'd at least want to place it up for $50-100 minimum if you're talking about a complete overhaul of the UI itself.
