[UNOFFICIAL] ScriptFodder Banner Resource Pack
Note: I am as of no means a professional in photoshop or anything, I just simply made this for people who are not the best at it and want something other than a(n) MS paint banner for their script. If you have any questions or need help on how to overall work this pack please feel free to add me on steam and I'll discuss with you there.
I see a lot of developers on ScriptFodder that are not very savvy with photoshop and I wanted to give them an example / resource pack to help them up their design game for their banner(s). Either to give their script banner a face lift or more so make it look more professional.
This pack features:
- Example backgrounds + blur effect for each example (here is a tutorial on how to achieve a gaussian blur on a(n) image.)
- Misc Vector Items
- A few Google Fonts (for people to lazy to download a specific one themselves) Ft. Truetype
- Vector Ribbons
- PSD featuring all of these items
Here is an example of what the pack can offer you:

Not bad, would relieve my eyes from the crappy script banners that some have, but I doubt people would use it as they would look at a script and say "Look! That guy used that free template, obviously cannot spend effort in making his own" or some shit along those lines.

Yeah I figured most people wont use it, but that's more so why I named it a resource back, so people can basically rip what they want out of it. I'm not really looking for credit but I believe this can be used for some people.

That made a really good forum signature though.
Let me contribute to this thread, last night I spent 5 minutes making like a donation button and I have decided it would be a good idea to give back to this community.

no one wants your garbage. this is also the Banner Resource Pack
Regardless of people using it or not -- at least you offered it which is a step. I do agree though that if a developer is going to put time into a serious script they want to monetize on, then they should also put care into the banners and other content that will help sell the script. But as examples have shown before, not every person is a graphic-guru.

I try to message other developers and tidy up their banners, I've done a few for metamist and misc users. I believe you are very correct, but a lot of developers here don't put work in to their banners, or more so they lack knowledge of how to do so, so they think their banner is great when it could dated. I am no master of GFX, I just know how to make name UI and stuff. This was merely a "hey this looks nice and is user friendly, maybe try and use some parts of this"
Where did you get that background image and what was the license? Since the intended use of these is to 'advertise' products, it's important to make sure the legality is sorted out.
Other than that, looks nice.
