Removing addons from addon folder

Hi so im making my first server which has just been private while i learn to work on it, but i was unfortunately using leaked addons and now im going to buy a tonnnnn of addons for my server and am wondering. Am i better of just completely resetting my server and redoing it all but with the new and paid addons? or am i okay just deleting all the addons out of my addon folder and replacing with the paid/new ones?

Just a noob to this all and have already had to restart my server from scratch once haha
