Where can I learn how to code?
Hi there everybody I was wondering where I could go to start coding. I want to make my own hud and darkrp and stuff like that.
I'm guessing, at home?
This question was asked so many times you'd get your answer faster by googling.

le click me Then once you've finished LUA basics. I watched people do Garry's Mod developing online. (e.g. CodeBlue - this may because I prefer to watch somebody else do it.) However CodeBlue tutorials helped me a lot with the basics.

I haven't laughed this hard since I was diagnosed as a mong by Dr. Billy.
Anyways, for some substance: I agree with Quack that you should start by learning plain Lua (Programming in Lua seems to be the best way to do this). After you have a solid understanding of the language you can go many ways. You can try and reverse engineer other addons, or you can come up with some unique ideas and try to implement them. The Garry's Mod Wiki will probably be an invaluable resource to you at this point. As a third path, you could follow a tutorial on Garry's Mod scripting. I hear Code Blue's series is pretty good, although I have never tried it myself.
