Recommendations
Anyone recommend any decent all rounder coders? Have a huge project with a massive budget and looking for someone that could potentially be reliable and recommended by other users.
There are a lot of good ones but also a lot of them don't do jobs. Just wait until someone applies for your job, I guess that will indicate if they're willing.

Because when you can code, you don't waste you time doing jobs when you can make much more by selling scripts.
You could always try to lure away other server developers. :3

Then you end up wasting time on stupid people and their tickets :Djoke
How is it a joke when it's true?

Why? This job has so much money that can be dropped on to it. I’m not sure if your talking about my job or just jobs in general.
Why spend 3 months working with a server that is probably going to die when you can spend 3 months making a script that can make more money.

Dear sulkz,
the creation of an addon is way easier than creating a custom (I expect) very hard to make gamemode. The creation of an addon is quicker and the profit is usually higher. Now 800$ seems like A LOT, but whether they are going to get it is the question. Even though you might be trusted 50% of the Job posters always withdraw once the job is done or never reply.
The creation of an addon will probably have a way bigger profit. Check out freemans work: https://www.gmodstore.com/scripts/view/21. He has been working on this a LOT and he got over 5000 sales. He probably earned 15 on average (probably more but just estimated) andso he has made over $75.000 on VCMod. Compare that to the $800 job which probably has the same amount of code lines. No offense to freeman of course as his work has defenitely cost a LOT of time.
Like this is just a quick and simple calculation. And it's also less fun to do if you know it is for a community which is most-likely going to die. It is quite sad if all your work goes lost like that. But a GModStore addon is sold to everyone and your work will be appreciated by soo many customers, a huge amount of gmod players.
Then there is also the customer that has their own ideas, they want certain things to be done and will add and change stuff through development which can be quite annoying. However, the developer might think it is a bad idea to do .. and finds it way more fun to work on ... The developer is actually more free and decides when he works on the project. (Fe: Marcuz and Gmodstore V3)
And there is a lot of more reasons why developers prefer a Marketplace addon over a Job in the Job section. I do however wish you the best of luck finding someone that can and will do this for you. And I'd love to see some progress in the General Discussions as I am quite curious :)
Kind Regards, Obitus

Thank you for the big response, understandably I can see why people wouldn’t trust a person from the internet, the way payment works section by section of the project gets paid then start the next. I don’t expect it all to be done in one hit and a 1 lump sum payment. The person I want is someone that will stay on and continually make money off of evertything they do. But thanks for the response .

Your budget is fine, it's not your fault just think about it, in 3 months you can make an amazing script. Imagine it would cost $8, if it gets 100 sales it already makes just as much as your job. In 3 months, you could probably make a few decent scripts and make more money of it. Making scripts isn't as binding, you either do it, or you not. Jobs have a deadline, rules you have to follow and all that stuff. Not saying it's your fault, it's just how it works.
Missing where I’m heading with this it isn’t $800 over 3 months it’s what ever gets done gets paid you could end up doing 2,000$ worth of work and be paid for it in the first month.
doesn't even take 3 months to make something amazing, everyone's just lazy, it's natural

Don't forget VAT and commission though.

Thought VAT didn’t apply to people outside of EU
