GLua/Level designer

Hi,

I'm Akulla and I'm currently available for GLua and level design commissions.

GLua

I've made several gmodstore addons: AShop, AHouse, AHud, ARadio, APhone, Judge System.

I was also previously a curator on GmodStore.

Outside of GmodStore, I've done a lot of work for specific communities. In particular, I developed my own gamemode (60k+ LoC) which was continuously updated for over 5 years.

I don't have any recent screen because I've reinstalled windows, but you can find all the figma UI designs of this project here.

Mapping

I have a lot of knowledge on the engine and I can pretty much optimise any map. I know how to make maps, but this isn't really the service I'm looking to sell, I can optimise any map or fix them. Some old maps I've done in public ( here ) and some private, more recent (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZ_zZPNMmVQ, some screenshots, I don't have a lot of recent screens because I did a windows reset )

Outside/side skills

Outside of gmod, things that could be important to know is that I can speak french (native) and english (B2, close to C1 level of comprehension or writing). Also, I have a Master's degree in a field related to computer science, therefore, my knowledge is not only restricted to gmod and I have useful, "side" knowledge to make better "coding" products.

All the UI of my GMS addons was made by me, as well as the figma designs in the GLua part.

What I can work on and how

I'm available for work:

1. Any kind of GLua request. Creating, fixing, auditing, improving etc...
2. Optimising/improving your map regarding performance improvements.
3. UI work, please keep in mind that I don't consider myself as experienced in UI design as in the other two fields. I won't take commissions of UI if this is not with a GLua part and this shouldn't be the main point of the commission.

I have some conditions for any commissions:

1. I won't work with any "castrating super ultra serious-rp" project, in any shape or form.
2. I don't want a "job" or anything full-time, I will work per commission.
3. I won't take any crypto or unusual payements way. Only Stripe.
4. I reserve the right to refuse any commission before work begins, for any reason.
5. For a first commission with someone, I will most likely require the transaction to go through the GmodStore Jobs section so that both parties have some protection in case of an issue.
6. Every commission must be fully specified and agreed upon before development begins. I won't make modifications when the product is finished, except for fixing issues. I also won't make any major modifications without discussing them beforehand.
7. I can work with, or without any AI-assisted tools. I can do both and depend if you have a preference regarding speed, price, strict clean code, if you dislike AI, etc...
8. I don't know how to do modeling or anything like this. I know how to export/import models, animations but I can't make them from scratch.
