About me

Hi, I'm SovietZombie I have been mapping in the source engine for over 5 years now and have experince in CSGO, TF2, LFD but mostly GMOD. Like most mappers on here I started out making really basic maps from following you-tube tutorials and since then have refined my skills as a mapper and increased my knowledge of the source engine as a whole.

What jobs do I undertake?

I am mostly looking to take on jobs that involve editing and optimising existing maps however I will also be willing to consider new original maps if the right one comes along.

Prices?

Despite having over 5 years mapping experience I am new to "for hire work" so my prices will not be top tier while i get some work under my belt. Prices are negotiated on a map by map basis starting at around $30 for a map edit of reasonable size.

My previous works

ttt_clue_2018

This map was what I consider to be a "remaster" of the original highly popular TTT map clue. I contacted the maker of the original map to ask their permission before making it. The map took about 8 months on/off working, I can work quicker!

This map is of a similar concept to that of ttt_clue_2018 I remade the TTT map community pool focusing on updating the visual style and also heavily optimising it so that more people can enjoy it.

ttt_sideways_city

This is my newest map that was created for a GMOD mapping competition with the theme of verticality, and made from start to finish in less than 2 weeks. This shows that when needed I can work much quicker while still maintain a good level of detail.

ttt_museum_heist

This is one of the my first maps I made so it is not as good looking as my newer maps despite this I am still happy with it and think It shows off probably my largest map that I have made.

What do I ask of you?

1. Please when contacting me have a clear idea of what you want doing.
2. Provide some plans even just something doodled in ms paint will do.
3. Remain mature, even if we are unable to come to an agreement don't turn bitter
4. If I have any questions about the project please respond to me in a reasonable time frame.
5. Do not adjust the payment amount once it has been agreed.
6. Provide the VMF of the map you want me to edit
