Script developer got banned...
So I bought a Script like 2 weeks ago, this dude https://www.gmodstore.com/users/view/76561198321397667 @Icarus gets banned a week after. The script has some bit of issues and the developer was nothing but friendly and supportive, whoever from a business standpoint it is an unsupported glitchy script. So what are my options to deal with this? Or did I just lost my money ?

Icarus has been ban evading for years by hiding his identity on the Icarus account. This won't happen again unless some other banned person thinks it's a good idea to ban evade and do the same thing, effectively screwing over their customers because they could get banned at any time.
So in cases like this can the customers open disputes without fear of getting banned?

The content creator didn't break the license at all, he can still provide support through mail and steam.

Opening a dispute over this situation will get me banned ? UNLESS the creator abandons the script... anyhow, whats the process to make this right? I have nearly 300 USD spent, dont want to screw that over a missunderstanding.

Send him a mail, add him on steam, if he doesn't get back to you, then open a dispute.
Seriously what the fuck is wrong with all of you...
He still has ways to provide support and deploy updates ... you know ... he got the mails of his clients.

He has changed his profile description on his steam account that he will not give support for his gmodstore scripts due to being banned. (https://steamcommunity.com/id/icaruszhuls95/)
Send him a mail saying that if he doesn't provide support, you'll open a dispute.

Yeah, but the dude wont be able to do hotfix, update it, or add new features. Because hes not allowed here. But fine, ill try to reach to him, and sort things out.

I want to be straight with this kind of things. But at the end of a day this is a business site, and no one would be happy to loose their money. I wont cry over 6 USD, I just want the script to work, and if it does not, reimburse and try other things.
I would wait for one of the mods to answer before doing anything drastic.
Considering Icarus has no intention of giving support for his scripts, you can open a dispute with PayPal if the script is not working for you, and he doesn't reply to your contact attempts (Steam, Mail, whatever you spam him with). Do not make an unauthorized chargeback through PayPal, as this will get you banned.
Dispute and try to win through PayPal is allowed.
