[Guide] View historical steam messages w/ new gdpr
(feel free to move if u don't want it in this section, but I thought it'd be more helpful here than off topic or general)
With steam cooperating w/ the GDPR stuff we've gotten a ton of cool stuff to see about how our data is used on their site.
One of these pages includes the message history data from friend messages. I'm not entirely sure how it works but some people say only a dozen stay if you close the message box but idk if that's true cause I see a shit ton of really old messages on mine. (So far from 24th to the 11th, which should be enough time to get your evidence if you closed it or something) Example of the page:

This can be a great way of getting messages back if you don't have the mobile app or you accidentally close the chat on steam. Hope this shit helps.
