Modify the render of my map.
If your map is not properly rendered in the dispatch application (if you've a map with different stages for example), then this tutorial will help you to get it render well.
First step, launch your map in singleplayer.
Then, go into your configuration file and add these lines :
KVS.Minimap.Config[ "mapname" ] = {
centerPosition = Vector( 0, 0, 0 ),
zNear = 0,
zFar = 20000,
zoom = 30000,
backgroundColor = Color( 100, 200, 250 )
}
By the way, replace mapname by your map name (ex: gm_construct)
After that, in-game, type the following command in your console : manage_map
On your screen, the map should be rendered.
Once it's done, play with the values above to get it render well.
When the map is properly rendered, you just need to remove your data/ksvmap folder and restart.
TIPS:
- Most part of the time, the issue is because there is something above the map, so you want to keep the automatically calculated centerPosition. To get it, just type in your console this command : lua_run_cl local min, max = game.GetWorld():GetModelBounds() center = max + min center.z = max.z print( "Vector(" .. center.x .. "," .. center.y .. "," .. center.z .. ")" )
- After that, something a vector should be printed in your console. Use it as centerPosition and modify the last value to change the top position.
