Updating JBlacklist


Before starting:

  1. Make sure to read the changelogs. These could contain important instructions which are not given here.
  2. Make a copy of any custom modules such as languages and blacklist modules.
  3. Make a copy of the MySQL connection configuration as well as the blacklist module configuration. (sv_mysql.lua and sh_blacklists_config.lua)


Instructions:

  1. Stop your Garry's Mod server.
  2. Download the new update from the script page.
  3. When you have downloaded the script, extract the ZIP-Archive using an unzipper like WinRAR.
  4. Remove your old JBlacklist folder from your addons folder.
  5. Drag the extracted folder to your server's addon folder.
  6. Re-install any custom languages or blacklist modules and re-apply the MySQL and blacklist module configuration.
  7. Start your server.
