Update Instructions

  1. Download the latest version of Pulsar Store from the GmodStore
  2. Delete any old versions of Pulsar Store from your server — ensure you back up your config file
  3. Delete the old pulsar-lib and pulsar-ui folders from your server if they exist
  4. Extract the new pulsar-store folder to your server

If you are using any other addons that require PIXEL UI, you will need to install PIXEL UI.

PulsarLib 1.1.0

PulsarLib has been updated to version 1.1.0, which includes several new features and bug fixes:

PulsarUI 2.2.0

PulsarUI has been updated to version 2.2.0, including UI reworks and bug fixes:

  1. Reworked text entries to look cleaner
  2. Reworked the step counter to look less square
  3. Added pulsar_ui_font_resize convar to allow font resizing (default: 1.0)
  4. Old convars renamed to use the pulsar_ui_ prefix instead of pixel_ui

Updatr 1.0.0

Pulsar Store has removed all usage of the gm_express library and now uses Updatr.

Updatr is a library that allows efficient syncing of large data tables between the client and server by only sending differences between old and new data.

This significantly reduces networking overhead and improves update performance.

⚠️ Warning
Updatr is still very new and may contain bugs.
If you encounter any issues, please report them in the Pulsar Discord or on the Updatr GitHub repository.

Sandbox Actions

You can now create package actions that allow users to spawn entities, weapons, and more in Sandbox and Sandbox-derived gamemodes.



Colors

Packages, bundles, and categories can now have custom colours, allowing for greater visual customization.



Animations

Numerous animations have been added to the main menu to improve visual polish and overall feel.


User List

The Users page in the admin panel has been redesigned to show a list of online users instead of only a search bar.



Package Return Limit

You can now configure how many days a user has to return a package after purchasing it.

This is configurable via the config file.

The main menu sidebar can now display web links at the bottom.

These links are configurable via the config file.

Conversion Limits

You can now limit the number of credits a user can convert per day.

PulsarStore.AdminUserGroups has been removed and replaced with the PulsarLib config version:

Conversion Limits

MaxPerDay has been added to the PulsarStore.Conversion table.

Example:
