Introduction
Make sure you are running the latest version of bLogs.
To use Discord webhooks with bLogs, you must install a "binary module" to your server.
This "binary module" is required because CloudFlare blocked Garry's Mod's user agent from sending HTTP requests to Discord's servers. This module allows Lua scripts to modify the user agent so that this is bypassed.
Installation
- Go here: https://github.com/WilliamVenner/gmsv_reqwest/releases
- If you have a GitHub account, why not give the repository a star? :D
- Download the correct module for your operating system and branch:
- If you are running on a Windows server, on the 32-bit Gmod branch (currently the default branch for servers), download
gmsv_reqwest_win32.dll - If you are running on a Windows server, on the x86-64 Gmod branch, download
gmsv_reqwest_win64.dll - If you are running on a Linux server, on the 32-bit Gmod branch (currently the default branch for servers), download
gmsv_reqwest_linux.dll - If you are running on a Linux server, on the x86-64 Gmod branch, download
gmsv_reqwest_linux64.dll - If it does not already exist in your server's files, create the
garrysmod/lua/bin/folder on your server. - Drop the module you downloaded into this folder
Your server files should look something like this:
(I am running Windows, 32-bit Gmod server branch)

(You will probably have more .dll files in here, such as for gmsv_mysqloo)
Wrapping up
And that's all. You can now restart/start your server and bLogs will automatically use this module to send Discord webhooks.
