โ Basic configuration
You can easily configure GloriousHUD for your server.
First thing first open config file glorioushud/lua/glorioushud/sh_01_config.lua
You will see many lines with different settings. Let me explain what's going on here. The lines with the beginning GH.Defaults are the default settings, they can also be changed by the client from the settings menu. The lines that start with GH.Admins are either admin only or allow you to disable a particular module permanently.
Here's an example: you want to disable the default FPS counter. Look for the corresponding line(s):
GH.Defaults.PerformanceOverlay = true --Enable performance overlay (top-right); Performance information, debug overlay must be enabled
GH.Defaults.POverlayMode = 'fps' --Performance overlay display mode (possible values: fps/ping/fpsping/advanced)
Each line has a description of what it does and some have values that can be set, in this case you want to disable PerfomanceOverlay. Set false instead of true.
There's also Language and Scale. They have automatic modes. If you want to freeze them, turn off their automatic modes.
Another example: you have some other voting addon on your server. You need to disable the voting module in GloriousHUD.
GH.Admins.Votes = true --Votes (top-left)
Change it to false . The module will not only be disabled, but will also disappear from the client settings.
Useful parameters for administrators.
GH.Admins.ChatCommands to modify GloriousHUD open settings commands
GH.Admins.BuildWeapons SWEPs with prop counter
GH.Admins.MedkitClasses SWEPs that will show the health bar of the player you are looking at
GH.Admins.ConnectionDiagnostic for disabling diagnostics on timeout screen (if you're doing it because you have a problem with it, read this article)
GH.Admins.Telemetry = true for disabling telemetry
GH.Admins.VoteSound, GH.Admins.NotificationSound, GH.Admins.NotificationErrorSound, GH.Admins.ClickSound speak for themselves
GH.Admins.VisibleDistance, GH.Admins.DoorsDistance distance in units, described in the config
