FAQ subject
Non-exhaustive questions some of you have, to avoid I repeat them again & again.
How can we disable the radar flash for some jobs ?
There is a value called Diablos.RS.JobVehicles in the configuration file where you can put the name of the jobs which can't be caught at an excessive speed.
How we spawn the speed cameras? I don't see them in the Q menu?
You need to use a tool for this (because there is some information you must provide with each entity): you normally have a classical Radar Placer toolgun in the "Diablos Addon" category. The informations created with my toolguns are saved in some files (in data/diablos like always).
When I press LEFT CLICK key using the Radar Placer toolgun, the edit menu doesn't appear ?
It's due to FPP (Falco Prop Protection). Take a look at the parameters of the addon by using the Q menu, then in the "Utilities" tab you'll have a "Falco Prop Protection" category with the "Admin Settings" label. Click on it, and at the right you will have the "Toolgun options" that you should modify otherwise the prop will not be detected by the toolgun. Enable the "Admins can ....." by clicking on the checkboxes, then try and you should be able to use it with the speed cameras.
The vehicles are flashed even if I put them in the Diablos.RS.GovernementVehicles table in the radar script, why ?
It's due to the Photon script. The problem is not due to my addons or the vehicles themselves but is due to the external scripts which change the correct vehicle classes. If you want to fix this:
- Put the contents you need on your server, then make appear the vehicle (the one with the good parameters you want) WITH THE Q MENU and enter in.
Now, on the server console:
- Type status in your console, then you will see ONE player per line (this is why I recommend you to be alone in the server). Locate the line with your name and memorize your userid (normally it should be 2 if you are the first connected but it can depends of how your server host works).
- Type in your console: lua_run print(Player(2):GetVehicle():GetVehicleClass()) (2 is the userid you found with the last instruction).
- If you were in the vehicle and you correctly typed the line, then you will see a line which will print you the vehicle class. Don’t worry if you see something like «öVehicle Classööö.» because yeah you must take care about all letters (and don’t forget points or any accents).
You are good if, when you typed your command, you see something that doesn’t look like something already in your table. You must put the string which appeared without forget any character.
Put this thing printed in your Diablos.RS.GovernementVehicles table and repeat the instructions for every vehicle involved.
