Fleodon no good developer creates for gmod anymore.

If you were a half decent developer in 2016->2020 (the gold age of gmodstore, miss you Matt), you're probably working a nice developer job out in the real world now. Don't have time to break your back making a gmod addon to sell it for $10 and make like $20K back (over 5 years). So many of the best developers on the platform back in the day are contributing to society through "real" jobs now. Guess we're not kids anymore, we actually had to grow up and be adults.

Huh, what has happened on gmodstore? When I was starting out as a creator here, the curators made us struggle for several weeks just to get our addon as perfect as possible. I do not want to be unkind, but this addon has a deep lack of functionality, hardly poor design and not ergonomic. It is like a 5s script from 2014. To be honest, if you want to make a career here, try to come up with something new and 100% personalised, with your own design.

We miss the Crap gmodstore era.

There's nothing wrong with using an AI banner, it's a fucking banner that won't be used anywhere, even if AI made his whole code, it doesn't fucking matter. What matters at the end is his product really.

But for stealing a whole idea without even giving credits and maybe stealing content? I'm fully against it as it's a cheap move

ngl i dont see a problem with the AI generated banner - but i do agree this could probably be pumped out in 1 hour theres no special features & changing the UI colours isnt making it unique compared to kobralost

Well, we're really in a lean season for accepting this kind of crap. Disappointing, as it is more and more often. Don't forget to mark GPT in the addon credits, you'll probably have to tip him 2 cents per sale for decency.

You just have to decompile the contents to see that the sounds used come from another well-known French-speaking server and another creator of this platform.

I don’t want to create any drama, but your lottery system doesn’t offer anything more than ours, it replicates all features and even the design. Just be honest about what you’ve done, and people will stop saying it’s a copy. A simple credit to our server or to me would have been appreciated.

First of all, KobraLost's code is private, so I can't copy and paste.

As for the UI, yes, it does look a bit like KobraLost's — just like most UIs on GMod tend to look similar.

If I had made my lottery blue, people would’ve probably said it was copied from Oveo, and so on...

In the end, it’s just an orange theme and in terms of features, my lottery actually has a lot more going on.
