📜 AWarn3 Console Commands

➡️ Issue a warning to a player with a specified reason.

➡️ Remove one active warning from the chosen player.

🔄 Reset All Server Data

Need a fresh start? You can wipe all warnings and reset AWarn3 to default settings with a single console command:

awarn resettodefault

⚠️ Important Notes:

1. This command must be run from the server console (works on listen servers too).
2. Running it from console ensures it cannot be abused by players or admins in-game.
3. After executing the command, restart your server for changes to take effect.
4. Added in version 1.1 – update before using if you’re on an older release.

🔄 Migrating from AWarn2 to AWarn3

AWarn3 introduces a completely new data system. Because of this, it is not directly backwards compatible with AWarn2.

➡️ You must uninstall AWarn2 before installing AWarn3.

📦 Importing AWarn2 Data (Added in v1.2)

If you’re running the default SQLite database (not MySQL), AWarn3 includes an importer to bring over your old warnings.

1. Update to AWarn3 v1.2 or later
2. Join your server as a Superadmin
3. Run the command:

⚠️ Limitations:

1. Some data, like admin names, cannot be imported because AWarn3 tracks this information differently.
2. MySQL imports are not supported (SQLite only).

💡 AWarn2 vs AWarn3

Still happy with AWarn2? That’s totally fine!

1. AWarn2 will remain available but is now deprecated
2. It will only receive security patches and bug fixes going forward

🔴 Kick

1. Uses your admin system’s kick function
2. Instantly removes the player from the server

⛔ Ban

1. Automatically bans the player
2. Integrates with your installed admin system
3. Custom ban length can be defined

🏷️ Change User Group

1. Requires a CAMI-compliant admin system (most are)
2. Move a player into a different group, e.g. a “timeout” group with restricted permissions

⚙️ Custom Command

1. Run any console command with player info passed in
2. Perfect for advanced punishments like jail, teleport, or custom actions
