Trying to help a friend out with a server that is DCing or "skipping" as he claims for about 3-5 seconds every 10 minutes (give or take.) I believe it could be him using too many workshop addons, since he's using 50 or so, with the majority being models. Is it the amount of workshop addons or the size of them that matter more?

Sounds like a network thing. Tell him to do net_graph 3 in console. If he sees lots of peaks with the red line on the bottom graph and his lerp goes yellow often then he should reset his router.

How much addons does he have on the server?

I use 100+ Workshop addons and my server doesn't lag. That probably isn't it...

If you think it is an addon, use FProfiler to diagnose which addons are using the most resources. That helped me solve my lag issues.
