Addon Idea
Hello,
I've thought of an addon that could possibly be made.
Lets say you own a server and you want to show the players a video or something that isn't on YouTube or Twitch, like a home video. Lets say its roughly like 5 minutes long and its in the format of an AVI. You upload the file into a directory called videos or something where the addon would recognize that file and then you could go into the game and choose that file to be played (synchronized and everything) to the players. Could this be done or not, and if so what would a price tag for it be?
Thanks. Sorry if it's worded weird.

I'll say 5$ to 3.50$
You can simply open up a web page for everyone that plays the video.
That's not the point. Someone doesn't want to upload a video to a site and then play it through the site... The point is to upload the avi into the addons folder to where the script would recognize it's that .whatever file and then be able to play it in the server...

What's the difference between uploading it to a website and uploading it to a folder? That's literally the same thing and if it's because of privacy issues Youtube has a unlisted feature for a reason. This addons would just cause unnecessary work to be done and isn't worth the hassle at all.
This is the most dumbest idea ever. Just upload the video to YouTube you idiot. Stupid owners would upload a 2gb 5 minute avi to there addon folder and expect that to play.

Oh yeah I didn't even begin to consider how much space all those video files would take up lmao
It was an idea that could possibly be made... No need for hostility, now I know that it's pointless. Thanks for replies though Sorry
