Reviews and tickets

Before you read, I'd like to say that I'm writing this out of frustration; due to reviews I believe are unjust.

I have no issues with negative reviews, by negative reviews I mean in-depth reviews that are letting users know about defects, issues, and known problems about scripts. It can allow other potential buyers to know if it's a right decision to purchase a script and that's understandable. What I feel is unjust is users creating reviews regarding issues that they never bothered to contact the author or even create a ticket about the issue. I've recently had a user leave multiple one star reviews claiming an issue that they are having is problematic; without creating a ticket. I would understand if the author has not replied or attempted to resolve your issues, but that isn't the case in these types of reviews.

Again, I have absolutely no issues with negative reviews with probable cause. It's just frustrating to see someone create one when they haven't taken the step of even creating a ticket and resolving the issue. They just jump the gun and conclude that the addon is sh*t and move on.

I'm not sure if others have experienced this, but I definitely have. Thanks for reading.

Edit: Also, I don't consider adding the author on Steam an attempt of contact before you create a ticket. I don't normally add users unless I directly tell them or they ask via a ticket.

TL;DR Creating shit one-line reviews because you can't bother to attempt to resolve your issue, is bullshit.

You can contact a moderator regarding unfair reviews (if posted without any attempt of contacting you)
