How good is Blender 2.8?

I'm a 3DS Max user, should I get into Blender with the new update? I heard it's easier to transfer from 3DS Max.

I'm still on 2.78 but the new 2.8 has a new button layout. It matches with lot of other applications button layouts, making it easier to switch from softwares. It also has a new real time render engine called eevee. What I've been told about transferring 3D software is know the fundamentals of modeling, the interface/button layout will take some time to learn though.

-ps never transferred to any other 3D software.
