DON'T USE FILEZILLA - spare us some time.
Filezilla has had this tiny bug since 2012 or so and it was never fully fixed. The bug is that whenever you upload a chunk of files, there's a high probability that one of these files will be corrupted and only a tiny error will be shown (which most people don't spot).
This is just a big appeal - STOP using a shitty software, it'll spare you some gray hair.
And the alternatives are..?
Do you have your transfer type set to binary?

Pretty sure this is preventable by just setting the transfer mode to binary, right?
For those who don't know how: Go to the top of the window click on Transfer > Transfer Type > Binary

You are implying a typical SF customer does anything else besides downloading filezilla, installing it, using it to connect to his server and then drag'n'dropping files.

I used WinSCP before FileZilla and loved it. Though I like FileZilla and haven't had any issues so far with it.

Most people say they can't use Atom with it (imo atom is so far the best free text editor, especially after exploring their packages, made coding a lot more fun and entertaining).
I've literally never had this happen to me. Thank for the heads up though.

WinSCP is pretty cool
I would suggest good ol' Total Commander or a CPanel built-in FTP browser.. anything but Filezilla really.

But not SFTP. It also does not work for me, ever.
WinSCP is good, if you have linux. Deleting files via WinSCP takes ages, and upload time is slower than FileZilla. I love the program but it's far too slow. Yes, you can argue that deleting files there's other ways etc but I just prefer doing majority of my maintenance through FTP.
Yeah, I'm extremely confused as to why WinSCP is so damn slow. I have about 90Gb/s download, yet I never get above 400Kb/s with WinSCP.
WinSCP is shit compared to filezilla when it comes to uploading stuff.
