Read this Any suggestions to improve these rules would be appreciated. Also, I will talk with nooky about enforcing these on existing scripts.

Edited Updated in-progress script rules. Everyone who uses usermessages are now dumb

Looks good. Redundant code should be in there as well. Seen way too many people writing the same code over and over again instead of just using a table and looping through each entry. Tables... the Jesus of Lua.

Please add in not to return true in hooks as well. I keep getting tickets about addons conflicting with my addons since they are returning true in hooks causing my hook not to be ran at all.

Gone ahead and updated the knowledgebase based on NWVars.

Please check for a better explanation.

Stop. Creating. Darkrp jobs. With a timer.Simple

@Craphead

Thank you

Also stop using SendLua @Pxl

Stop using Darkrp.notify, save the message on the client, stop resending it again over network, if you need to, just send the changing part and edit the base message with string.format

Stop sending net.WriteInt(x,32), if you don't know the n-bit , then just sent the n of bits using net.WriteUInt(n, 5) n = 0 <-> 32

If you really need to send a string, try to compress it, however because of the dictionary size, it may be bigger once compressed, then just net.WriteBool(compressed) and send data or string depending on if its compressed or not

And for the love of god, STOP DETOURING SHIT

Just adding to the first bulletpoint, use this instead of timer.Simple

I guess the best way is to make a darkrp module, it literally takes 30 secs to do
