Just a quick question about using paid scripts
Hello, just a really basic question,
I have bought some scripts and i was wondering if i am able to use them on my brother's server at the same time so he won't have to buy them aswell.

That's the definition of script sharing.. but I'm sure some authors (like me) would turn a blind eye on it.

So that was pretty much a "No". Some authors does not care about it, but you can't use the same script on multiply servers at the same time, unless they are ran by the same person.
The answer is no.
Oh.. So with simple words, if i own 10 servers, i can use the same script on 10 servers but i can't give it to my brother for example. Thank you for the info :)
As far as I understood you can share it with the community you are in.

Yes, can't share it with a partnered community or anything like that. And if you do and they so happen to leak it, it's on yer ass.
i understand that if someone leaks an addon that i gave them, the fault is completely mine. My little brother wants to start his own GMod server and he asked me to share some of my paid addons with him so he won't have to buy them since it's gonna be a waste of money which we could invest on other addons in order to expand the features of our servers. Of course i will be the one configurating everything (on my server and his server also) and except me and him, nobody else will get access to the server files. The only way for someone to leak the addons i personally bought will be to hack his way in the server files and download them. Thank you for your responses, i just wanted to make sure before seeing that i got banned :P
