Not sure how everyone will feel about this, but I madea small scriptmainly for Crident users who are requesting a easy solution - if you feel comfortable using it, hopefully someone finds it useful. It logs any blocked http requests to a file (data/backdoor_log.txt) & your servers console, with the debug trace to hopefully help find the source addon doing this.We frequently get customers who have issues with backdoors, so this is something I'm most likely going to keep updated and evolve as I see fit. Right now it's incredibly basic, but that's intentional to keep it transparent and easy to understand. If you're having issues finding the addon which has this backdoor on your server, this will help you find that addon.

Glad to see you went and made a solution.

Now now, what our customers do isn't our business - we're just here to help them build the best server

Something I'm going to point out (since users are posting comments on people's scripts). Any old script would be vulnerable to the backdoor of Script Enforcer (mostly leaks), so don't go around yelling that scripts are backdoored especially without confirming first. My scripts for example, personally were taken off of SE long before ScriptEnforcer died and haven't used SE in ages. The same goes for quite a few other developers here.

If I catch people causing drama without confirming information first, you will be banned for a period of time. If you have concern about a developer possibly still using SE, then message the developer and ask, but 99% of all developers who sell on gmodstore no longer have the old ScriptEnforcer hooks in their scripts and are long gone. If you're worried about SE hooks as a user, stop using leaks, because that's about the only way you'd have to be concerned. Either that or you've purchased a script from a developer who is possibly now inactive and hasn't posted the update.

Real talk here, you cannot defend phoenix what so ever, you're retarded if u say "oh he could have done worst" like seriously commit suicide already u brainless autist.

Phoenix caused a shit ton of damage as it is: Shit tons of drama DDoSing people that disagreed with him (im a prime example) Using scriptenforcer for malicious intents at the start before gms started enforcing shit Still using scriptenforcer for malicious intents Closed scriptenforcer unexpectedly breaking tons of scripts

I can go on about how fucked up phoenix is, like if he actually got beheaded in the congos I'd throw a party.

My point was just proven. Post deleted, so Im right aren't I? Also doesn't deleting a post secretly go against the rules? just goes to show.

Something I'm going to add on to because over-all, the drama isn't needed. What Phoenix did, he already did. Crident was nice enough to post a possible solution, so you may utilize that if you are having issues or are curious as to if you've been affected. And from my understanding, phoenix is informing people on how to remove it. Yes, what Phoenix did wasn't the most proper way of handling it, however, the drama of spamming him and telling him things like "off yourself", and "you can't code" is uncalled for. Phoenix is one of the reasons I got more into Garry's Mod, so while I may not agree with him on actions, I have some respect for him. I can see his point about people constantly on his ass. Both sides are guilty, and attacking someone is going to push them in a corner. Let Phoenix do his thing with his gamemode, and leave him be. Pretty simple.

If you do have questions in regards to if you're impacted, try out Drizzy's solution, if you're with Crident as a customer, I'm sure they can help as well. Nook wants this to stay closed, but I wanted to make a final post on keeping the drama down.
