Making Maps Seems quite interesting to me and i was wondering how map makers go about doing it like What is the best way to learn what software do i need Etc.

even basic optimization isn't seen by most "gmod mappers"

Are you going to just state this? Or do you want to provide some facts to back it up. Everything I've seen of his has been of decent work. He's even brought up solid points on Valve maps, and how to fix them.
